Our fundamentals classes follow a six week course in which students will learn the basic fundamentals of standup fighting. These classes are designed for the absolute beginner in mind but will also provide a good refresher for any experience level. This program restarts every 6 weeks to ensure students who miss a class are able to resit that specific class on the following scheduled 6 week block.
Our intermediate classes follow a six week course in which our student will learn the intermediate level standup techniques. These classes are an extension of the fundamentals classes and provide more advanced standup techniques. This program restarts every 6 weeks to ensure students who missed a class are able to redo that specific class on the following scheduled 6 week block.
These classes are by invitation only.
Our general classes are open to all levels and experience. The general classes are designed as a stand alone class for standup fitness and general conditioning. This class is also structured to compliment the Fundamentals, Intermediate and Fighter classes.
Our stand up classes are structured and designed to suit all levels of fitness and experience. Whether you are looking to lose weight for summer or step into the ring our coaches have a wealth of knowledge that you can take advantage of.
The Fundamentals andIntermediate classes are a prerequisite for any fighters or athletes looking to fight under River City Martial Arts & Fitness Centre. Potential fighters will be assessed & tested during your participation in these classes by our coaches. You will be assessed on your Attitude, Behaviour, Commitment, Dedication, and Ego.
